Banquet Supervisor

Assign tasks and supervise banquet staff, ensuring proper grooming, punctuality, and performance.
Coordinate timing, service flow, and event transitions to ensure smooth operations.
Conduct pre- shift briefings to communicate event details, service standards, and duties.
Follow hotel policies and safety procedures during setup, service, and cleanup.
Address last- minute changes and support the Banquet Manager in executing event plans.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of service items.
Train and guide banquet team members to ensure consistent, high- quality service.
Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and special instructions during events.
Supervise the preparation, setup, and breakdown of banquet rooms according to event orders and hotel standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas and back- of- house spaces.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.

Welcome event hosts and ensure all requirements are understood and met.
Event Operations
Maintain high service standards throughout the event, ensuring professionalism and guest satisfaction.
Report damages, losses, or maintenance needs promptly.
Guest Service
Team Leadership & Coordination
Ensure proper arrangement of tables, chairs, linens, décor, AV equipment, and service stations.
Inventory & Equipment Management
Monitor and maintain banquet equipment, supplies, and linens.

Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage large groups.
High attention to detail and service- oriented mindset.
Professional grooming and strong interpersonal skills.
Diploma or certificate in Hospitality or related fields preferred.
Excellent organizational and time- management abilities.
Qualifications & Requirements
Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
Minimum 1–2 years of banquet or F&B supervisory experience, preferably in a 4–5 star hotel.
Basic to good English communication.
