Objective of the position:
Ensures a smooth bar operation at any time by following responsibilities mentioned below.
Responsibilities for this position shall include, but not limited to the following areas and activities at management discretion. Direction may be given for tasks outside the scope of work described.
Scope of duties and responsibilities:
To cooperate with and support other departments, e.g. takeover cooking duties as well as arrival and departure duties
Responsible for the revenue, stock and all other controlling relevant numbers in collaboration with the F&B management
Responsible for the stock of goods and operational material
Controlling the working of all shifts according to their responsibilities
Informing the F&B management about any incidents that might affect the area of work
Respectful treatment of all equipment and products
Preparation of a correct internal stock request according to the daily needs
Executing any extra tasks delegated by the F&B management
Supporting the management at a 100% with the creation and implementation of new actions
Providing of the needed service material
Responsible for the whole mis en place, at all bars and as well at all other location were F&B actions might take place
Being an archetype; not only to customers and bar staff, but to everybody
Support the stock taking of operational equipment as well as of bar supplies
Creation and implementation of action plans to increase revenue and to optimize cost
Creation of cocktails, and all drinks customers might ask for
Being open to new concepts of ROBINSON
Constant control of the bar areas (front and back) as well as the occupied tables to ensure cleanliness (such as regularly replacement of used ashtrays) and that any further wishes of the guests are satisfied
Having a clean and professional appearance towards our guests while treating them in a familiar way with a professional distance
Being the first and leaving as the last if the Assistant Bar Manager/Bar Manager is not present
To become an integrated part of the overall team and its programmes, with for example participation in shows and evening events
Implementation of hygienic standards and regulations as well as cleaning plans according to HACCP
Yêu cầu công việc
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage, Tourism, or a related field is preferred.
Good physical stamina and flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Good knowledge of bar service, cocktail preparation, stock control, and hygiene standards (HACCP).
Professional, proactive, and service- oriented attitude with strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
Good command of English for daily and professional communication; knowledge of German or other foreign languages is an advantage.
Minimum 3 years of experience in bar operations, preferably in hotels or resorts; prior supervisory experience is an advantage.
