To direct and control all activities of the Bell Desk ensuring that the department achieves its guest experience objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Interacts with the Resort Host on day- to- day operational matters to ensure guest needs and requests are attended to quickly and efficiently.
Prepares duty rosters ensuring the most efficient use of resources.
Assists guests with arrival and departure procedures.
Co- ordinates guest transportation requirements with the Car Hire desk and takes corrective action in the event of anticipated problems.
Co- ordinates with Buggy drivers regarding resort transportation.
Directs and supervises all subordinate Bell Desk staff to ensure that all operational matters are handled on time and guest expectations are met.
Handles and documents as required, all incoming and outgoing mail.
Effectively administers the department preparing and submitting reports on time as directed.
Supervises luggage, message and guest delivery and pick- ups.
Co- ordinates the ordering, receiving and delivery of all newspapers and magazines.
Monitors the general condition, cleanliness and maintenance of the buggies and takes appropriate action where necessary.

CRITERIA:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position preferably in a hospitality business.
Able to handle physically demanding workload.
Proficiency in English and computer literate.
Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of individuals.
Bachelor&039;s degree in any field.
