• Evaluate credit worthiness via processing loan applications and documentation
• Build trust relationships, customer loyalty and satisfaction throughout the underwriting process.
• Assess customer needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loans to develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross- sell products and services
• Operate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines
• Communicate with customer via phone/ direct meet / site visit the mortgage or customer&039;s addresses either to request or to provide or to verify information and assess the customer credit worthiness and provided information.
• Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans
• Update job knowledge on types of loans and other bank services
• Determine all applicable ratios and metrics for preparing credit application and set up loan payment plans
• Maintain and follow up loan records and overdue record, implement collection procedure and propose changes as needed to reduce bad debts.
• Complete loan contracts and counsel customers on policies and regulations.
