Business Intelligence Executive PowerBI/Data Warehoue

JOB PURPOSE
The Business Intelligence Executive is responsible for leveraging and analyzing large business and financial datasets to generate valuable actionable insights. This role is critical in supporting the Finance Manager and Senior Leadership in making strategic, data- driven decisions to improve financial performance, optimize costs, and drive business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Analysis and Financial Reporting

Deep- Dive Analysis: Conduct in- depth data analysis, specifically focusing on financial areas such as revenue, profitability, cost structures, budget forecasting, and Return on Investment (ROI).
Reporting and Visualization: Design, build, and maintain automated reports and dashboards that effectively visualize key business performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Decision Support: Provide analytical models, forecasts, and data modeling to support the Finance Manager in strategic planning, risk assessment, and identifying areas for process improvement.

Technical and Data Systems

Data Querying: Expertly query and extract data from various source systems (ERP, CRM, Data Warehouse) using SQL and other programming languages.
Process Optimization: Collaborate closely with the IT/Data Engineering teams to enhance ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and optimize data architecture for superior BI reporting.
BI Tool Development: Possess strong proficiency in utilizing and administering BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) to develop robust analytical solutions.

Exceptional analytical skills, logical thinking, and a strong affinity for working with complex numerical data.
Knowledge of Data Modeling and Data Warehousing concepts.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly translate complex technical findings into business context for non- technical stakeholders (especially the Finance Manager).
High proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
Bachelor’s degree in information technology (IT), Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related quantitative field.
Experience working with financial ERP systems.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a Business Intelligence Analyst/Executive, Data Analyst, or quantitative role, preferably within the Finance domain.
Solid experience with one or more major BI Visualization Tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
