As the Category Specialist, Quality for North America, you will be responsible for ensuring that all finished goods produced at third- party vendor facilities in Southeast Asia meet company quality standards and customer requirements before export to the US market. This role focuses on proactive quality oversight through on- site audits, scheduling and managing third- party inspections, and driving corrective actions to prevent defects, non- conformances, and supply disruptions. The specialist serves as the key on- the- ground quality representative for assigned vendors, collaborating closely with procurement and product management teams to maintain high product quality and compliance.
Category Specialist, Supply Chain
As the Category Specialist, Supply Chain Management for North America, you will play a key role focused on imported Traded Goods from Southeast Asia into the US market. This position emphasizes capacity management with vendors, ensuring alignment between demand forecasts, current logistics conditions (e.g., ocean freight availability, port congestion, lead times), and supplier production capacity. The role mitigates supply risks, optimizes vendor performance, and supports cost- effective, reliable supply of goods into the US market. This specialist will proactively monitor and manage capacity with vendors to prevent shortages, overcommitments, or disruptions while collaborating closely with forecasting, planning, logistics, and sourcing teams internally

Category Specialist, Quality

Tertiary educated or above in any discipline
At least 3+ year experience in production Quality Control
Good command of spoken & written English
Previous exposure in packaging industry will be advantageous
Business travel is needed
Good product sense & well- organized
