ABOUT THE ROLE:
Your mission is to oversee accounting, taxation, internal controls, and financial reporting — ensuring risk mitigation, resource optimization, and strategic alignment with NovaGroup.
As the Chief Accountant, you will lead financial transparency, compliance, and operational excellence at GVM.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review accounting activities across affiliated units and departments.
Review payment requests, contracts & pricing to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Build, update & enforce financial policies, SOPs, workflows & templates.
Work with tax authorities, support tax audits & optimize tax efficiency.
Identify financial risks, improve internal processes & drive operational efficiency.
Oversee financial statements, management reports & tax submissions.
Support digital transformation and financial automation initiatives.
Lead, coach & develop the accounting team; ensure knowledge updates & succession planning.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Strong analytical thinking, communication, risk management & team leadership.
8+ years in corporate or group accounting management.
Chief Accountant Certificate & Professional Tax Procedure Certificate required.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or Business Administration.
Proven experience in tax audits, financial reporting & internal control systems.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations & internal controls.
4+ years in a supervisory/leadership role.
