Computational Simulation Engineer – Sounding Rocket Program

Conduct CFD simulations of internal propulsion flowfields and external aerodynamics.
CT Group is expanding its advanced aerospace and space technology initiatives and is seeking a Computational Simulation Engineer to support the design, development, integration, and launch of suborbital sounding rocket systems.
Analyze launch- induced environments (random vibration, acoustics, shock).
Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (with possible travel to test and launch sites)
Develop aero- thermal- structural coupled models.
Establish simulation standards, documentation practices, and verification methodologies.
Perform structural and thermal analysis (FEA) of rocket airframe, motor casing, and payload structures.

Collaborate with propulsion, structures, avionics, and systems engineering teams.
Correlate analytical models with test data and refine predictive tools.
Support trajectory modeling and flight dynamics simulation.
Yêu cầu công việc
Experience with sounding rockets, launch vehicles, or propulsion systems.
Experience correlating simulation results with ground or flight test data.
Strong analytical, problem- solving, and technical communication skills.
Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or similar engineering computing tools.
Knowledge of dynamic loads, structural dynamics, and thermal environments.
Familiarity with systems engineering processes and model validation.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in computational simulation for aerospace systems.
Experience with launch vehicle, missile, or high- speed aerospace systems preferred.
Strong background in FEA and/or CFD tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, NASTRAN, Fluent, OpenFOAM, or equivalent).
