Job Purpose
• Manages the hotel inventory process on a monthly basic
• Studies, analyses and reports all variances relating to costs and inventory management within the hotel
• Supervises the daily receiving and storekeeping activities
Primary Responsibilities
• Ensures the implementation of all cost control policies and procedures by all departments
• Ensures that all inventory movements within the hotel are accounted for and are properly supported with appropriate documentation
• Prepares and issues various cost reports as required by Management
Administrative responsibilities
• Be ready and responsible when assigned to performed any other duties as designated by higher management
• Performs the physical count of all storeroom stocks and month- end inventory, with final balances to be reconciled with the general ledger month- end balance
• Costs all receipts, inter- kitchen transfers and any food and beverage consumed by the hotel employees (staff meals)
• Discharges the duties in an effective and efficient manner
• Technical responsibilities
• Performs daily and monthly Food & Beverage reconciliations, using POS- generated sales analysis reports and ensuring that all discrepancies are explained
• Reports the daily and monthly F&B costs with emphasis and detailed analysis on exceptional variances such as trend of cost of sales ratios, slow moving items, breakage and loss …
• Verifies all duty meal’s bills, F&B entertainment bills to make sure they are processed according to the procedure and to prepare a daily entertainment report
• Ensures all goods received and delivered in and out of the hotel stores are properly documented and accounted for
• Defines minimum and maximum stock levels, par stock management systems and to ensure the compliance with the relevant departments

Knowledge and Experience
• Proficient in the use of Micros office.
• Problem Solving, Customer focus, Motivating and team working
• Has good knowledge of Hotel Operation, Focus on cost of food and beverage, Inventor
Competencies
• At least 2 years years in hotel accounting or similar supervisory role, or an equivalent combination of education and work- related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
