Data Analyst Intern

As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work directly with the Data team to collect, clean, and analyze user behavior data from Galaxy Play — one of Vietnam’s leading OTT streaming platforms.
This internship gives you hands- on experience in large- scale data systems, real- time analytics pipelines, and building business- impact dashboards that drive Product- Led Growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with Data Engineers to ensure data integrity and tracking accuracy.
• Build and maintain dashboards using Tableau, Google Data Studio, or Excel.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to summarize and visualize data efficiently.
• Support marketing performance analysis (Attribution, Paid vs Organic traffic).
• Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Airflow, Excel, etc.).
• Analyze user journey and funnel performance (User Funnel, Retention, Engagement).
• Track and evaluate product KPIs such as DAU/MAU, Session Duration, Retention, and Conversion Rate.
• Apply analytical frameworks like Cohort, AARRR, Retention, Churn, and A/B Testing.
Requirements
Must Have:
• Detail- oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Strong understanding of SQL and Excel.
• 3rd- year or final- year student majoring in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or Information Systems.
• Analytical mindset and passion for solving data problems.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with OTT, eCommerce, or consumer app data is a plus.
• Experience with Python (pandas, matplotlib) for data wrangling.
• Basic understanding of funnel analysis, retention, churn, AARRR, or cohort analysis.
• Familiarity with Tableau / Power BI / Google Data Studio.
