About the Role
We are looking for a Data Scientist who enjoys working with real business data and turning it into meaningful insights.
This position is ideal for someone who likes solving practical problems, not just building models for academic purposes.
In this role, you will work closely with IT, business, and operations teams to analyze data, build models, and create dashboards that actually help people make better decisions.
What You Will Do
Build and improve machine learning models (forecasting, classification, regression, clustering) based on real business needs.
Work with data from multiple sources (SQL Server, Oracle, BigQuery, Excel, CSV).
Clean, prepare, and analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, root causes, and potential risks.
Validate and monitor model performance using suitable metrics.
Visualize and communicate insights in a simple, business- friendly way:
Create clear charts, KPI views, drill- down analysis, and executive summaries
Build dashboards and reports in Metabase
Tell the “story behind the data” so non- technical users can understand and act on it
Document methodology, assumptions, and results so the work is reusable and transparent.
Support POC (Proof of Concept) initiatives for AI/ML before scaling to production.
Work directly with teams (QC, Finance, Operations, Sales, etc.) to understand their questions and translate them into data solutions.
What We’re Looking For
Good working knowledge of SQL (SQL Server, Oracle, or BigQuery).
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Hands- on experience building dashboards or reports, especially using Metabase.
A strong understanding of statistics and machine learning fundamentals.
Solid experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit- learn).
Experience working with real business data (not only academic or training datasets).
