Follows hotel policies at all times
Perform other tasks as directed and arranged by superiors.
Monitor, check and preserve tools, freezers, refrigerators, ovens, stoves... tools used daily in the work area
Perform all types of food preparation as instructed by the chef de partie in a professional way to ensure quality and consistency
Keep the baking area clean, clean the work area and tools or utensils daily and monthly as assigned by the department.
Train subordinates continuously in order to upgrade quality and production in a professional way
Operate all utensils and machinery in his assigned section
Assist to run his section efficiently
Delegates work to his subordinates in order to run uninterrupted
Check fridges and area thoroughly to avoid spoilage
Perform other tasks in the bakery department as requested by superiors
Responsible for the wastage and try to minimize the spoilage
Supply enough mise- en- place and ensure smooth operation
Checks preparation and work done to ensure quality
Establishes and maintains good relationships in his section
Be fully responsible for his assigned section
Check punctuality of all staff assigned to him
Monitor preparation of pillow materials for the next shift
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor
Delegate work to his subordinates and ensure that his orders are carried out to hotel standards

Minimum 1- 3 years experience in culinary field depending on position
Oral and written fluency in English
Good culinary knowledge
Experience fine dining in Hot kitchen
Culinary related certificates
1- 3 experience in a Luxury Hotel preferred
