What You’ll Do
Lead infrastructure incident response, including root- cause analysis and preventive improvements
We are looking for a hands- on DevOps Engineer who takes strong ownership of system architecture, infrastructure quality, and operational excellence. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to build a reliable, secure, and scalable platform.
Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with a strong focus on automation and reliability
This role requires a balance of deep technical execution, proactive ownership, and the ability to enable teams through standards, tooling, and clear communication.
Clearly communicate infrastructure risks, incidents, and remediation plans to product and engineering teams
Own infrastructure stability, scalability, reliability, and availability across all environments
Design, standardize, and evolve AWS architectures (supporting mainly Ruby on Rails and Laravel applications)
Position: DevOps Engineer (Senior above)
Lead AWS cost analysis and continuous cost- optimization initiatives
Improve developer productivity through automation, platform tooling, and documentation
Design effective monitoring and alerting strategies with a strong signal- to- noise balance
Establish database query history and audit tracking standards
Define and document product- wide standards, including:
CI/CD pipelines
Infrastructure & Infrastructure as Code
Help shape the future Platform / DevOps team and engineering culture
Application error handling and Slack notification channels
Proactively identify problems, propose solutions, and drive them to completion
Monitoring, alerting, and on- call practices
Git workflows and management
What we need:
Experience in multicultural teams (e.g. Japan/ Vietnam)
Terraform (required)
Deep knowledge of CI/CD and automated deployment
CloudFormation (experience or solid understanding)
Working proficiency in English
Strong ownership, motivation, and self- driven mindset
Linux and networking fundamentals
Clear communication skills with both engineers and non- engineers
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code
High- traffic or distributed systems experience
Experience building internal platforms or shared infrastructure
3+ years of backend development experience
Strong hands- on experience with AWS (architecture, operations, optimization)
Solid database knowledge (performance, operations, security)
Experience operating production systems
AWS or security- related certifications
Container platforms (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes)

Ability to work independently and proactively in a team- building environment
