DevOps Engineer

Capacity assessment and consultation to each of the stakeholder
Improve and automate detection and initiate prevention initiatives for recurring problems.
Monitor and troubleshoot application issues.
Support Disaster Recovery testing and related setup.
Provide day- to- day technical support such as setup, administration, configuration, patching, upgrades and backup on full stack of KIBB Middleware services in technology areas including Kafka, API management platform, ELK (Elastic Stack), Kubernetes/Docker, Keycloak and Cloudera Data Platform.
Occasionally support ongoing project implementations
Proactively review system health, business volumes and trends for abnormalities. Take early prevention actions to avoid service disruptions.
Vendor/Principle management
Define and recommend observability matrix optimal for each platform
Deliver platform capability to meet the needs of application team.
Manage platform infrastructure setup in local Data Centre.

Experience with monitoring and logging tool (ELK Stack)
Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Functional understanding of Message Queuing, Application security, API implementation, event hubs and tools
Demonstrated willingness and capability to learn, assimilate, and act upon large amounts of information rapidly.
Work under minimal supervision & take ownership of Middleware incidents end to end.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
4 years of experience in a support role, preferably within a financial organisation
System administration experience with troubleshooting OS, application logs and knowledge of networking, storage, etc. required to address system level issues.
Knowledge of client- server, 3- tier architecture web applications & distributed systems.
