Director of Sales

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Job summary
• Under the general guidance and supervision of the Executive Assistant Manager and within the limits of hotel policies and procedures, assist to oversee and direct all aspect of the sales department.
• Responsibilities include, but not limited to oversee day- to- day sales and administration efforts of all personnel in the Sales department, with specific responsibility for directing sales, team building, training and implementing action plans set forth in the business plan.

Qualification Requirements
• Must have a thorough knowledge in all jobs in hotel sales environment.
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all responsibilities and
task.
• Must be able to guide and maintain a sales team towards achieving the department’s
goal.
• Must have a high degree of professional integrity and be able to work in prudent and
rganized manner.
• Responsible self- starter, capable of handling multi- faceted projects and working under
pressure.
• Team player who values teamwork, has a good team building skills and is able to
communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
• Guest- driven, friendly, fair and approachable.
• Tactful, discreet, reliable, sensitive and diplomatic.
• Personal and pleasant to deal with.
• A proactive problem solver.
• Nurtures and develops employees, encouraging innovation.
• Understands and respect local culture, able to adapt to changing environment.
• Good health physically fit. Excellent personal grooming and personal presentation.
• Willing to work long and irregular hours, frequently unsociable hours and public holidays
when required.
