To be familiar with all loyalty and frequent flyer programs, benefits and procedures especially.
The main task of Duty Manager is to assist Front Office Manager/ AFOM in the smooth running of the front desk and lobby operation and to represent management in absence . Priority has always to be given to guest request and / or complaints.
Duty Manager has to be thoroughly familiar with the hotel policy and procedures, “Knowing Your Product” booklet, Fire & Emergency Manual and Employee handbook.
To be fully aware of in- house activities, function, VIP arrivals, group, etc.
Priority has always to be given to the Guest Hot Line with proper follow up and log book record.
In absence of Front Office Manager/ AFOM or Management special authority will be given to Duty Manager (refer to Policy and Procedure)
To be acknowledgeable with all front office functions (refer to Standard Service procedure)

Special attention to be given to VIP guests, to attain and follow up on any Guest complaints, corrective actions to be taken immediately to prevent future recurrence of any guest complaints, guest suggestions have to be listened to and brought to the Executive Housekeeper’s attention.
