Garment Fitting Technician

A Garment Fitting Technician typically possesses a combination of education, experience, and skills specific to garment construction and fitting.
Responsibilities:
Check the sample construction based on the GJ process details, OS, or Design.
Documentation: Keeping detailed records of fitting adjustments and alterations for future reference.
Give recommendations to the supplier for quality improvement.
Fit the sample in the mannequin and take a photo.
Alterations: Making precise alterations to the pattern to achieve the desired fit and garment appearance.
Able to work overtime if needed without excuses.
Fit Sessions: Conducting fit sessions with models or clients to assess the fit of garments and make necessary adjustments.
Quality Control: Ensuring that finished garments meet the required standards of fit, comfort, and style.
Collaboration: Working closely with designers, pattern makers, and production teams to achieve the best fit for garments.
Give analysis, comments, and final decisions on the overall garment quality.
