Under the assignment of QC Manager, the supervisor supports QC Manager to manage and supervise the activities of quality control, lab study and laboratory management at ADCo’s Go Dau Terminal.
Support lab technicians to carry out all tasks related to sampling, testing and test result analysis in accordance with procedures of the quality management system and Company’s policy. Besides the QC tasks, the lab supervisor must be available for technical support to sales, operations, and Company’s customers (Problem solving). Each task must be approved and confirmed by the line manager.
Equipment and Working Environment:
- The supervisor is responsible for managing all equipment in the laboratory. The supervisor must maintain the operation of equipment at workplace on a regular basis and systematically.
- The supervisor does the inventory and calibration plan of the lab equipment.
Sampling and testing:
- The sampling and testing must be done in accordance with procedures of quality control system (Frequencies, Methods, Specifications…).
Test result analysis:
- Analyze seriously test results and report to the line manager before getting final approval from higher level.
- Use the appropriate form for each task that is done according to the quality control procedures
- Report any problem/mistake to the line manager
Site support:
- Technical support for sales and customers at job sites when required
- Troubleshoot all issues at job sites and/or customers’ plants related to the Company’s product quality
Communication:
- With third party lab: Sampling and coordination, collect certificates if needed.
- With terminal manager: Communication regarding QC on bituminous products according to Company’s Quality Policy
- With customers and sales: Support for sampling and testing for customers and specific projects
- With plant manager: Communication regarding QC Production/ Manufacturing of all products (QC Procedure)
Support QC Manager for lab management:
- Support QC Manager to communicate and collaborate with operations & other related departments in case of quality issues and to implement and follow- up corrective actions related to these issues.
- Monitoring, training Junior Lab technician & Lab Helper to be compliance with Quality control manual
- To maintain high level of HSE awareness & maintain the lab facilities in good HSE condition
- Conduct deep analysis in testing report and make report/proposal to QC Manager for solutions

- Skills in quality control of bituminous products
- Road construction techniques and construction materials knowledge
- Excellent use of MS office and computer
