ROLE OVERVIEWBase.vn is seeking a Global Sales Director to lead international market entry, build strong commercial presence, and drive scalable revenue growth across multiple countries. The role owns global go- to- market strategy, enterprise acquisition, brand development, and the build- out of international sales operations.⑊
KEY OBJECTIVES
Ensure predictable execution, reporting, and continuous performance optimization.
Develop and execute global go- to- market and market expansion strategies.
Build relationships with enterprises, industry networks, and strategic partners to accelerate growth.
Build a scalable sales operating model, including processes, tools, and performance management.
Establish Base’s presence in priority markets and secure steady enterprise revenue growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Strategy & Expansion
Continuously refine strategy based on customer feedback and market data.
Identify, evaluate, and prioritize high- opportunity markets.
Build structured market entry plans including segmentation, messaging, positioning, pricing, and competitive strategy.
Sales Organization & Execution
Conduct regular pipeline and performance reviews to drive accountability and consistency.
Define and implement sales process, KPIs, CRM standards, incentive models, and productivity metrics.
Recruit and develop strong sales talent in target markets.
Enterprise Acquisition & Business Development
Build partnerships with local businesses, multinational firms, associations, business chambers, and industry networks.
Accelerate deal flow and improve revenue, conversion rate, and time- to- close per market.
Lead the enterprise sales cycle from prospecting to close.
Brand Building & Market Presence
Strengthen Base’s visibility through events, workshops, speaking engagements, and ecosystem participation.
Work with cross- functional teams to localize sales materials and case studies.
Reporting & Insights
Ensure accurate forecasting, CRM discipline, and full visibility into global pipeline.
Present performance results and insights to leadership on a regular basis.
SUCCESS METRICS
Strength of brand recognition and presence in key territories.
Enterprise revenue and customer acquisition per market.
Scalability and repeatability of go- to- market model.
Number of markets successfully activated and expanded.
Sales productivity, pipeline velocity, and forecast accuracy.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Experience
Proven track record in market expansion or launching new territories.
7–12+ years in B2B/enterprise sales leadership, ideally in SaaS or technology.
Experience building and managing distributed sales organizations.
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and stakeholder management.
Ability to build systems: GTM models, sales playbooks, hiring frameworks, KPI tracking.
Strong enterprise selling capability and structured go- to- market thinking.
Personal Qualities
Strategic thinker with operational discipline.
High resilience and ownership.
Builder mindset and execution- driven.
WORKING MODEL
Reports directly to CEO.
International travel required.
Based in Vietnam or a strategic market.
