ROLE OVERVIEWBase.vn is seeking a Global Sales Manager to execute market entry, drive enterprise sales, and build strong commercial presence across assigned international markets.This role focuses on hands- on execution of go- to- market plans, acquiring customers, supporting local sales teams, and ensuring consistent performance across markets.
Unlike the Director role, the Global Sales Manager is primarily responsible for implementation, revenue delivery, and market operations, not corporate- level strategy.
KEY OBJECTIVESSupport recruiting, onboarding, and coaching of local sales talent.
Ensure disciplined sales operations, CRM compliance, and forecasting accuracy.
Strengthen Base’s brand presence through events, partnerships, and market activities.
Execute global go- to- market strategies in assigned countries.
Drive customer acquisition and hit enterprise revenue targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES1. Market Execution & ExpansionConduct market research to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and opportunities.
Adapt and localize sales approach based on customer insights and market data.
Execute market entry plans including segmentation, positioning, and outreach strategies.
2. Sales Operations & Team SupportSupport recruitment, onboarding, and ramp- up of sales reps in target markets.
Ensure adoption of Base’s sales process, KPIs, CRM standards, and reporting requirements.
Work closely with Country Sales Leads/BDMs to execute sales activities.
Run weekly pipeline reviews and drive performance adherence.
3. Enterprise Sales & Business DevelopmentBuild strong relationships with: local enterprises, multinational companies, business associations & chamber of commerce, ecosystem and industry partners
Lead enterprise deals end- to- end in assigned markets: prospecting, qualification, demos, proposals, negotiation, closing.
Expand channel networks to accelerate customer acquisition.
4. Brand Building & Market PresenceRepresent Base in local events, workshops, business communities, and networking sessions.
Coordinate with marketing and product teams to localize sales materials and case studies.
Support creation of on- ground activities to strengthen Base’s presence.
5. Reporting & InsightsMonitor sales performance, pipeline velocity, and key market indicators.
Maintain strong CRM discipline and provide accurate forecasts.
Report weekly results and insights to the Global Sales Director.
SUCCESS METRICSEnterprise revenue and number of customers acquired in assigned markets.
Expansion of partner networks and brand visibility.
Sales productivity and conversion rates.
Market readiness and activation progress.
Accuracy of forecasting and quality of CRM data.
CANDIDATE PROFILE1. Experience4–7+ years in B2B/enterprise sales, ideally in SaaS/technology.
Experience executing market entry, territory development, or regional sales.
Track record of achieving revenue targets and closing enterprise deals.
2. Skills & CompetenciesStrong communication, relationship- building, and stakeholder management.
Strong enterprise sales skills: prospecting, demo, solution selling, negotiation.
Ability to work cross- functionally and collaborate with global and local teams.
Good understanding of GTM execution and sales operations.
3. Personal QualitiesExecution- driven, hands- on, and action- oriented.
High ownership, resourcefulness, and resilience.
Adaptable to fast- changing environments and cross- cultural contexts.
WORKING MODELReports to CEO
Based in Vietnam or assigned region.
Frequent international travel required.
