ROLE OVERVIEWBase.vn is seeking a Global Sales Manager to execute market entry, drive enterprise sales, and build strong commercial presence across assigned international markets.This role focuses on hands- on execution of go- to- market plans, acquiring customers, supporting local sales teams, and ensuring consistent performance across markets.
Unlike the Director role, the Global Sales Manager is primarily responsible for implementation, revenue delivery, and market operations, not corporate- level strategy.
KEY OBJECTIVESSupport recruiting, onboarding, and coaching of local sales talent.
Ensure disciplined sales operations, CRM compliance, and forecasting accuracy.
Execute global go- to- market strategies in assigned countries.
Strengthen Base’s brand presence through events, partnerships, and market activities.
Drive customer acquisition and hit enterprise revenue targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES1. Market Execution & ExpansionExecute market entry plans including segmentation, positioning, and outreach strategies.
Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and opportunities.
Adapt and localize sales approach based on customer insights and market data.
2. Sales Operations & Team SupportEnsure adoption of Base’s sales process, KPIs, CRM standards, and reporting requirements.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and ramp- up of sales reps in target markets.
Run weekly pipeline reviews and drive performance adherence.
Work closely with Country Sales Leads/BDMs to execute sales activities.
3. Enterprise Sales & Business DevelopmentLead enterprise deals end- to- end in assigned markets: prospecting, qualification, demos, proposals, negotiation, closing.
Expand channel networks to accelerate customer acquisition.
Build strong relationships with: local enterprises, multinational companies, business associations & chamber of commerce, ecosystem and industry partners
4. Brand Building & Market PresenceCoordinate with marketing and product teams to localize sales materials and case studies.
Represent Base in local events, workshops, business communities, and networking sessions.
Support creation of on- ground activities to strengthen Base’s presence.
5. Reporting & InsightsReport weekly results and insights to the Global Sales Director.
Maintain strong CRM discipline and provide accurate forecasts.
Monitor sales performance, pipeline velocity, and key market indicators.
SUCCESS METRICSExpansion of partner networks and brand visibility.
Sales productivity and conversion rates.
Market readiness and activation progress.
Accuracy of forecasting and quality of CRM data.
Enterprise revenue and number of customers acquired in assigned markets.
CANDIDATE PROFILE1. ExperienceExperience executing market entry, territory development, or regional sales.
4–7+ years in B2B/enterprise sales, ideally in SaaS/technology.
Track record of achieving revenue targets and closing enterprise deals.
2. Skills & CompetenciesAbility to work cross- functionally and collaborate with global and local teams.
Strong communication, relationship- building, and stakeholder management.
Good understanding of GTM execution and sales operations.
Strong enterprise sales skills: prospecting, demo, solution selling, negotiation.
3. Personal QualitiesAdaptable to fast- changing environments and cross- cultural contexts.
Execution- driven, hands- on, and action- oriented.
High ownership, resourcefulness, and resilience.
WORKING MODELReports to CEO
Based in Vietnam or assigned region.
Frequent international travel required.
