We are looking to recruit a
Tax Intern

to be based out of the firm&039;s headquarters in Ho Chi Minh office.

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Key internal relationships: Partners, Deputy MD, all staff of the Office
Applicants eligible: Qualified candidates (Vietnamese speaking)
Working Hour: Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 12:30pm and from 2:00pm to 6:00pm
Position type: Full Time, 6 months of internship
Reports to: Tax Consultant/ Tax Manager/Tax Director
Key external relationships: Vendors and local authorities

Provide support and assistance to Tax Consultant/ Tax Manager/Tax Director with the following tasks:

Undertake other duties as may be required from time to time
Provide administrative support relevant to client matters;
Draft client correspondence under the supervision of Tax Consultant/ Tax Manager/Tax Director;
Support in tax compliance and tax advisory work under the supervision of Tax Consultant/Tax Manager/Tax Director;
Do research on tax regulations and precedents under the supervision of Tax Consultant/Tax Manager/Tax Director;

Requirements

Essential skills & proficiency

Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn
Good analytical skills, logical thinking and enjoy working with numbers as well as writing
Careful and detail oriented.
Bachelor&039;s degree in relevant subjects, e.g. accounting, finance, economics, laws (having an accounting or finance background or qualifications in these fields is a plus point). Fresh graduates are welcomed.
Microsoft Office 2007 or 2010- Word, Excel and Outlook
Good command of English and Vietnamese
