Job description
Reporting to: Marketing, Admissions and Communications Manager (MAC)
Location: EMASI Schools
Role Overview:
The Media & Digital Content Intern supports the Digital Officer and school communications team in producing engaging, high- quality visual content that showcases EMASI’s programs, learning experiences, and school life.
This role is ideal for Junior or Senior university students majoring in Media, Marketing, Communications, or Digital Content Creation who want real- world experience in video production, visual storytelling, and digital branding within a bilingual school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Video Production & Visual Storytelling
• Ensure content reflects EMASI’s learning outcomes and school values
• Support the creation of short- form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) and long- form recap videos
• Assist in scripting, storyboarding, and planning video concepts
• Edit videos with music, subtitles, transitions, and branding elements that adhere with EMASI Brand Guidelines.
• Film school activities, classroom learning, events, and student projects
Graphic Design & Digital Content Creation
• Support adaptation of campaign visuals into different formats
• Design simple digital assets for social media (posts, covers, story visuals, thumbnails)
• Assist in maintaining visual consistency with EMASI’s brand identity
• Collaborate with the designer for larger projects when needed
On- site Media Coverage
• Coordinate with teachers and students to gather content for storytelling
• Provide media coverage during school events, activities, and special programs
• Organize and archive media files for future marketing use
• Capture high- quality photos and behind- the- scenes moments
Social & Digital Support
• Support preparation of content for Facebook, website, and other digital channels
• Work with the Digital Officer on content ideas for social platforms
• Stay updated with trends in video style, transitions, music, and formats suitable for Gen Z & parents
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements
• Basic skills in tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva, Photoshop, or similar
• Junior or Senior student majoring in Media, Marketing, Communications, Multimedia, or related fields
• Commitment to child protection and safeguarding policies
• Creative mindset with attention to storytelling, not just recording
• Ability to work onsite during school hours and events
• Strong interest in video production and digital content
• Good visual sense for framing, lighting, and composition
• Responsible, proactive, and comfortable working in a school environment
Preferred (Nice to Have)
• Knowledge of short- form video trends
• Experience managing personal social media or content channels
• Basic motion graphics or animation skill
