We are looking for a highly experienced Head of Engineering to lead, scale, and empower our growing engineering organization. Unlike a hands- on role, this position focuses on strategic leadership, organizational scaling, and technical direction, making it ideal for a leader who thrives on building strong teams, shaping engineering culture, and driving product success through large- scale delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Optimize Processes
Drive Technology & R&D
Develop People & Culture
Mentor and coach engineering leaders; build a strong succession pipeline.
Own end- to- end execution of the product roadmap from planning to release.
Manage risks, dependencies, and technical debt proactively.
Lead & Scale Teams
Champion adoption of modern tools, frameworks, and infrastructure.
Improve development velocity, quality, and reliability through automation and process discipline.
Partner closely with Product Management to ensure timely, high- quality delivery.
Create a collaborative, innovative, and high performance culture.
Design and implement best- in- class engineering practices: task allocation, code review, release management, and QA.
Define and execute the company’s technology vision and architecture roadmap.
Institutionalize a data- driven, metrics- based approach to engineering performance.
Build, manage, and grow a high performing engineering and QA organization of 40+ members.
Champion continuous learning and technical excellence.
Ensure Delivery
Establish structures and leadership layers to support rapid expansion.
Foster alignment between product, design, and engineering teams.
Ensure platforms are secure, scalable, and future ready.
Yêu cầu công việc
Strong expertise in system design, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.
Experience building platform- scale products (e.g., e- commerce, supply chain, data platforms, or martech).
Proven success in scaling engineering organizations within fast growing product companies.
Strong strategic and technical judgment; capable of balancing long term architecture with short term business priorities.
Proficiency in modern development practices CI/CD, DevOps, observability, and agile delivery.
Expertise in agile planning, project management, and SDLC best practices.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years leading large engineering teams (30+ people).
NICE TO HAVE
Hands on background with .NET, C, SQL Server/PostgreSQL, and cloud native technologies (coding not a primary responsibility).
Experience in high growth tech startups or enterprise scale platforms.
Previous experience as Head of Engineering or Director of Engineering is a strong advantage.
