About the role:
Explore new business, develop and establish the assigned carriers in the market, while proactively negotiating and managing existing and potential travel trade partners and other partners.
The incumbent will direct reports to Regional Head of Passenger in Hong Kong, work closely with Head Sales Head Quarter to provide proactive sales and marketing activities and supports, to achieve the revenue and associated targets for the portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
• Help to negotiate discount rates, commissions, and contracts in a timely manner to ensure the best return on investment.
• Support new business development.
• Manage the Sales team and local relationship with travel trade partners and other partners
• Support marketing activities.
• Manage the Sales Team and doing sales visits to clients to conduct presentations, and seminars, and provide updates on products and services to enhance sales opportunities and facilitate sales.
• Construct the sales strategy and plan to achieve the sales and associated targets.
• Seek ways to improve the quality of the revenue generated by the portfolio
• Monitor the effectiveness of incentive/discount schemes by conducting regular and timely performance reviews to maximize available and potential sales opportunities.
• Service existing portfolios or accounts to maintain and grow the value.
• Initiate and follow up on sales team actions, obtain sales leads and seek new business.
