Tidies and cleans Housekeeping office and stores and ensure all storage facilities of housekeeping are kept in good condition and order
Performs other duties as directed by Assistant Housekeeper.
Assists in formulating and establishing plans for all aspects of Housekeeping management and operation.
Issues store items to HK staff in accordance with Hotel policy.
Maintains a high standard of hygiene and sanitation throughout all service areas.
Check store stock levels and order items if needed.
Ensures that all Housekeeping staff perform duties in accordance with hotel guidelines.
Ensures guest orders are delivered quickly to promote guest satisfaction.
Obtain all minibar items required and issue accordingly.
Report any damaged or spoiled items.
Attends all staff and training meeting when directed by Assistant Housekeeper
Checks rooms to required standard if necessary.
Provides assistance to guests in all hotel emergency evacuation and medical procedures.
Check guest arrivals, preferences, and notes (traces), and inform the concerned supervisors. Communicate with other departments about arrival and turndown amenities.
Assist in monthly stock takes to insure minimum losses.
Assists in ordering as necessary any items required by the department
Records lost and found items as per HK policy.
Conduct regular inventories.
Assists guests with special needs and requirements.
Reports any health or safety hazards to the Assistant Housekeeper.
Monitors daily arrivals according to occupancy report in co- ordination with the Laundry Supervisor and Assistant Housekeeper.
Reports to work station according to schedule with a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene with clean and pressed uniform as per hotel policy.
Coordinate with Laundry for uniforms for new hosts.
Yêu cầu công việc
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals and surfaces.
Diploma of high school completion.
Understanding of scheduling working and organization.
A sharp mind/ attention to detail to ensure that the vast areas assigned to him is well taken care of at all times.
Heavy lifting of materials up to 10lbs may be required.
Very good command over written and spoken English.
Intermediate to Advanced MS Office
Willingness to learn new skills and work hard.
Two years or more in a housekeeping position in an international hotel chain.
Must be able to work under a deadline.
Ability to train and supervise staff and communicate well with management and guests.
