HSE Supervisor | Nhơn Trạch Grinding Station

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Health & Safety Control
+ Manage the Work Permit system and Contractor Safety Management (CSM).
+ Ensure 100% compliance with company QEHS policies, procedures, and "5 H&S Rules" for all employees, visitors, and contractors.
+ Develop, implement, and maintain H&S procedures, including Emergency Response plans.
+ Lead incident investigations to identify root causes and track corrective actions.
+ Conduct regular Safety Observation Tours (SOT), Personal Task Observations (PTO), and Site Safety Inspections.
Monitoring & Reporting
+ Monitor safety equipment, fire protection systems, and first aid facilities.
+ Prepare H&S reports for the Plant Manager and Group H&S department.
+ Manage the H&S database (reporting incidents, hours worked, training records).
Training & Engagement
+ Promote a safety culture through "Safety Toolbox Meetings" and awareness campaigns.
+ Conduct safety training sessions and emergency drills (Firefighting, First Aid, etc.).
+ Organize H&S induction for new hires and contractors.
External Relations
+ Liaise with local government bodies regarding safety, firefighting, and security regulations.
+ Manage the security team/contractor to ensure plant assets are protected.
MAJOR CHALLENGES
+ Influencing and changing the safety mindset of workers and contractors.
+ Handling emergency situations and conducting thorough investigations under pressure.
+ Strictly enforcing safety regulations while maintaining operational efficiency.
