Import Export Specialist

Purpose:
To manage and execute import and export operations independently, ensuring all shipments comply with national and international trade laws, and are handled efficiently and cost- effectively. To serve as the operational focal point for assigned trade lanes or product categories, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to corporate logistics standards,
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Monitoring & KPI Tracking- Customs Brokers and Fowarders.
Process Improvement Execution – Identifies inefficiencies and implements minor process optimizations.
To support continuous improvement and cost control initiatives.
Track Performance improvement by Brokers & Forwarders.
Performance Monitoring & KPI Tracking- Internal.
Utilize Technology System to support on automation of trade compliance process management.
Supports audits and compliance assessments by preparing necessary reports and documentation.
To maintain efficient coordination with service providers and internal departments.
Applying Process of HS Code, Origin & Preference, License & Certificiate management and other trade compliance process to ensure all trade related master data are accurate.
Ensures that all import/export operations and customs process comply with international trade regulations, customs laws, and import/export requirements.
To manage end- to- end shipment activities (import/export).

• Fluent in English.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree of any discipline preferred International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related discipline.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Strategic planning and cost optimization mindset.
• High proficiency in ERP systems and trade compliance software.
• Advanced analytical and problem- solving skills.
• Experience: 5–8 years of progressive experience in import/export operations with supervisory duties.
• Expert knowledge of trade laws, customs regulations, and documentation standards.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
