Import Export scope:
To verify the monthly freight charge (for Inbound) and other charges related to IMEX and proceed the payment procedure.
To propose to Logistics Manager any necessary initiatives to improve the team performance and to uphold team member working morale.
To be accountable for annually customs liquidation reports to customs department.
To work closely with cross- sectional functionalities such Purchasing, Accounting, Shipping for daily operations and data enquiries.
To prepare and submit the set- off quarterly reports to local customs authority on or before committed deadline.
To be responsible for all scopes related to Import Export (IMEX), ensuring that all Inbound/Outbound shipments to be properly cleared without problems or delays.
To manage customs formalities, particularly focused on IMEX operations of Export processing enterprise. (E42, E11, E15, A31, B13, A12…)
To manage and support team to prepare necessary applications to get required certificate such CO, COC, etc.
To manage customs declaration on VNACCS/ECUS.
To study Govt’ regulations related to customs procedures, Incoterm and apply it into daily tasks.
To verify and cross- check all IMEX documents needed.
To implement other tasks to support other Logistics team.
Forwarder Management:
To lead the communication to forwarder and broker in all issues related to IMEX scope including but not limited to discussing on any lost cargo, confirming type of import/ export, clarifying lead time, quotation and rates, monitoring status of shipment.
To search for new and potential forwarders and service providers / brokers then negotiate for best prices and other commercial conditions.
To cooperate with forwarders/ service providers / brokers to make sure for a safe and timely transportation of all shipments (including normal and DG goods)
Team Management:
To effectively lead the IMEX team to perform required tasks with clear action plan to achieve the Logistics targets including the reasonable job allocation, teamwork morale and motivation, staff coaching and staff evaluation.
To have a proper and achievable training plan for the IMEX Team.
To involve in the recruitment process for IMEX team when requested.
Documentation:
To work with brokers to prepare Customs Declaration and other related documents
To receive and check Shipping/Importing Documents (SD) from the related parties for the customs clearance process.
To set up proper filing system to store hard copies and soft copies of related documents.
