Position Overview
Perform pre- dispatch inspections (production supervision, factory acceptance tests, pre- shipment inspections) and post- dispatch inspections (container loading and unloading) for renewable energy equipment (solar modules, energy storage systems, inverters, etc) informing project stakeholders of the progress of the work being conducted.
Key Responsibilities
• Verify the on- site conditions according to the 5M methodology prior to performing the inspection.
• Suggest improvements to the manufacturer to improve the inspected product and the testing conditions.
• Report to the Project Manager the findings observed on site during the inspection.
• Monitor the testing lead time to ensure the completion within the agreed schedule
• Participate to the project opening meeting to brief the supplier on the scope, inspection plan and schedule.
• Witness manufacturing and testing progress by analyzing measurement according to a checklist
• Fill- in the inspection report, based on the format prepared by the Service Engineering team.
• Understand the inspection plan and checklist content after being trained to the projects requirements.
• Inform the contact people on the inspection site about findings and analyze their improvement plan.
• Propose improvement of the inspection methodology.
