Inventory Accountant

The Inventory Accountant is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, performing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role plays a critical part in the financial accuracy of inventory valuation and supports operational efficiency across the organization.
Inventory Management & Reconciliation:

Perform monthly inventory reconciliations between physical counts and system records
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, variances, and adjustments
Maintain accurate and timely inventory records in the accounting system

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

Support month- end and year- end close processes related to inventory
Prepare monthly inventory reports and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
Assist with internal and external audits related to inventory

Process Improvement & Compliance:

Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements
Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to improve inventory accuracy
Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices

Cross- Functional Collaboration:

Support other accounting and finance projects as assigned
Provide inventory data and analysis to management as needed
Work closely with Procurement, Warehousing, and Operations teams from US

Education:

Bachelor &039;s Degree with Finance or Accounting major or have equivalent background.
2- 4 years of accounting experience, preferably with inventory or cost accounting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Fluent English (4 skills) and confident in communication.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
