IT Operations Officer

Provide timely IT support to internal users and brokers, covering:+ PCs, laptops, operating systems, and office software applications.+ Network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, WiFi, VPN, Email systems, and securities trading applications.
Manage and respond to IT support requests (tickets), ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Guide and instruct users on compliance with information security policies and best practices.
Collaborate with Head Office IT teams and external vendors to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve IT incidents efficiently.
Prepare and deliver regular and ad- hoc reports on IT system statuses, incidents encountered, and implemented solutions.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the IT Director.
Execute regular data backup activities in accordance with IT policies.
Administer and maintain branch server rooms, including management of servers, network devices, UPS, power supply and cooling systems.
Operate and monitor IT systems at branch offices to ensure system stability, security, and uninterrupted operations.

Soft skills and personal qualities:+ Excellent communication skills combined with a strong service- oriented mindset.+ Effective in pressure situations with quick troubleshooting capability.+ Responsible, highly organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.+ Integrity, attentiveness, and compliance with IT procedures and standards.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT Support or IT Operations, preferably in financial or securities environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
Language skills: average proficiency in English is required.
Strong technical knowledge, including:+ Proficient in Linux (critical) and Windows Server administration.+ Familiarity with hardware such as PCs, laptops, printers, switches, routers, firewalls, and UPS systems.+ Basic understanding of information security concepts. Certifications like CCNA, MCSA, or CompTIA are advantageous.+ Experience or skills in automation scripting (Shell scripting, Python) is highly preferred.
