Java Developer , C - Sign-on Bonus

• Work with international customers and colleagues from Germany, France, the Czech Republic, and the US
• Independent conception and implementation of new functions in complex application landscapes
• Coding in the frontend and backend, mainly with Java and JavaScript
• Creation of technical documentation

General qualifications
Strong English communication skills (both verbal & written)
Degree in engineering or natural sciences (university or technical college)
2+ years of professional experience in international software projects (flexible depending on how fast your learning and technical developing capabilities are)
Technical skills
Must have
Understanding of software development tools, processes, and architecture
Experience with relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies
Experience with Java/Kotlin and J2EE frameworks such as Spring
Experience with multi- tier or service- oriented web applications
Nice to have
Experience in microservices architect
Experience in search engines such as Lucence, Solr, Elasticsearch..
Experience with testing practices and tools (JUnit, Mockito...)
Experience in build tools: Gradle, Maven
Experience in agile software development
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git is preferred)
Soft skills
Willingness to learn and build a deep understanding
A passion for software development, new trends, and technologies in IT
Be able to work independently and under pressure
Sense of responsibility, communication skills, and team spirit
