Building Successful Relationships
• Develop relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
• Work collaboratively with off- hotel sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary and not duplicative.
Managing Sales Activities
• Participate in sales calls with members of sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Director of Sales and Manager to maximize room revenue.
• Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
Using Knowledge of Market Trends and Target Customer Information to Maximize Revenue
• Understand the overall market- competitors&039; strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
• Gain understanding of the location&039;s primary target customer and service expectations; serve the customer by understanding their business, business issues and concerns, to offer better business solution.
• Close the best opportunities for the location based on market conditions and location needs.
• Identify new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals.
Providing Exceptional Customer Service
• Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
• Provide excellent customer service consistent with the daily service basics of the company.
• Support the company&039;s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
• Service our customers in order to grow share of the account.
• Set a positive example for guest relations.
• Execute and support the company&039;s customer service standards.
Yêu cầu công việc
Strong business sense and industry expertise.
Proven experience with developing sales goals and objectives.
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
Good command of English and Vietnamese.
At least two years’ experience as an Assistant Sales Manager in high volume luxury hotels and resorts or equivalent.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends; willingness to travel.
Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Marketing or Hotel Management or any related discipline, Master’s degree preferred.
