Job Purpose:

Providing day- to- day integrated process evaluation support and reporting directly to the Development Manager/Engineering Lead.

General Description:
Directly reporting to Development Manager/Engineering Lead with the major responsibilities as follows:

Provide technical guidance for non- standard situations / procedures for activities such as CO2 venting or depressurizing, cool downs/warm ups, system overpressure protection (PSV, HIPPS) etc.;
Assist and carry out training on Process Safety, and Risk Assessment topics;
Support certification and permitting activities related to discipline;
Ensures process safety information (e.g. safeguarding manuals) are up to date;
Relief and blowdown studies assessment;
Affinity with passive and active safety systems;
Assist in technical safety studies such as Safety Critical Element, Quantitative Risk Assessment, Fire Explosion Analysis, etc;
Consult on Process Safety Management and Risk Assessment;
Consult on Area classification and detection systems;
Supervise and train project team members where necessary;
Other relevant duties assigned by Development Manager / Engineering Lead.
Identify safety critical operational cases and procedures in cooperation with operations;
Coordinate with contractors to prepare proposals and take responsibility for process;
Participate in Process Safety Workshops (such as HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, etc.) as Scribe/Assistant and prepare the reports;
Support incident investigations, root cause analysis;

Qualifications and Work Experience required:
Qualification:
The jobholder should hold a Bachelor Degree in Chemical engineering / Process Engineering or closely related Engineering of Oil and Gas industry.
Experience & Requirements:
The job holder should have the following:

A minimum of 01 project experience as Process Safety in oil and gas project.
A minimum of 03 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in the offshore sector.
Good communication and problem- solving skills have analytical thinking.
Good presentation skills
A good command of English both verbal and written.
Dedicated and self- driven person;
Have ability to organize your own work and meet strict deadlines.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team, under high pressure and limited time;
Ability to work in team environment.

Personal attributes:

Good analytical and deductive skills.
Good interpersonal skills are also required, as a successful candidate will be part of a multidiscipline, multicultural team and interact heavily.
