The Siemens Equipment Operation Engineer will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining SCADA and Simcenter systems. The role involves conducting durability, corrosion, and vibration tests on products or components to ensure their performance meets technical and safety standards.
Scope of work:
Equipment Operation and Testing:
• Conduct durability, corrosion, and vibration tests according to technical procedures.
• Operate Siemens SCADA and Simcenter systems as required for testing purposes or related system.
• Ensure that all equipment and testing processes comply with technical and safety standards.
Data Collection and Analysis:
• Monitor and record real- time data from equipment during testing.
• Process and evaluate data from sensors, measurement, and monitoring systems.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed performance reports.
Equipment Maintenance and Calibration:
• Conduct repairs or liaise with suppliers for support when necessary.
• Calibrate sensors and measurement systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of Siemens testing equipment (SCADA, Simcenter).
Coordination and Support:
• Provide training and support to team members in using the equipment.
• Collaborate with other departments (design, quality, production) to meet testing requirements.
• Assist in setting up appropriate test environments for different test cases.
Yêu cầu công việc
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electronics, or related fields.
• Experience in durability, corrosion, and vibration testing is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience in operating testing equipment (preferably Siemens equipment/tool/system using: SCADAS, Simcenter,…).
Technical Skills:
• Skilled in data analysis using technical software (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar).
• Hands- on experience with sensors and measurement systems.
• Proficiency in SCADA and Simcenter systems, including setup, operation, and monitoring.
Soft Skills:
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Problem- solving mindset with quick and efficient solutions.
• Effective communication and teamwork with related departments.
Other Requirements:
• Proficiency in English (technical document reading and basic communication).
• Driving license (B1/B2) is required
• Willingness to work overtime or travel when required.
