Landscape Manager - Park Hyatt Phu Quoc - Pre-opening Stage

Ensures all plants, lawns, and trees are healthy, trimmed, and visually appealing.
Plans and supervises daily, weekly, and seasonal maintenance of all landscape areas, including beach, gardens, and staff compound.
Participates in hotel sustainability and environmental protection programs.
Records and reports the condition of all landscaped areas for follow- up and improvement.
Manage and supervise outsourced contractors to ensure high work efficiency, good quality, and compliance with all regulations while working at Hyatt Hotel.
Ensures effective service recovery about guests’ feedback.
Makes sure that Landscape employees, outsource contractor empoyees work in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments, in a spirit of “We work through Teams”.
Maintains tools and equipment in good working condition and plans their periodic servicing.
Assists other gardeners when requested by the Team Leader.
Prepares operating budgets and proposes energy- saving or sustainable solutions.
Works closely with Engineering and Housekeeping to ensure the property’s external areas are clean and safe.

Strong understanding of tropical plants, planting techniques, care, and pest/disease control
Ability to read landscape drawings and work with technical plans
Experience Minimum 4–5 years of experience in landscaping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role at a 5 star hotel, resort, or luxury property
Leadership, delegation, and team supervision skills, Planning and budgeting skills, Communication and cross- departmental coordination skills, Ability to make quick decisions and work independently.
Preference will be given to candidates with pre- opening experience or those who have participated in the handover- to- operation transition phase of a property.
College or University degree in Agronomy, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, or a related field
Knowledge of automatic irrigation systems, landscape lighting, and garden design
