Logistics Executive

Summary Position:

The Logistics Executive is responsible for the overall management of empty equipment or containers at the terminal / depot.
This includes managing container inventory control, coordinating on- hire / off- hire processes, arranging the supply of reefer spares, and preparing reports related to empty containers.

Responsibilities
Release activities

Receive special demands regarding release
Weekly send overdue list to all depots
Daily check release for White List Bookings
Ensure release as per scorecard and weekly target
Follow up on the release

Release empty container to shipper

Input release depot as per customer&039;s demand / instructions from team
Handle any issue from customers or depots regarding release
Receive and send mail order for released boxes to shipper
Send and update booking release to each depot / ICDs

Stock report

Daily follow up on AV stock
Coordination with M&R team to ensure AV stock is sufficient at all depots

Local charges export

Monthly check and confirm storage / reefer charge with ICDs / terminals
Assist Manager in checking invoices from the terminal / depot
Calculating detention / demurrage and reefer power charge for export in HCM, Quy Nhon, Da Nang and send email to shipper about these fees
Inputting local charge on Ibox system: Power cost; Detention/Demurrage charge for export

Key Experience & Qualifications

Minimum diploma qualified, preferably in the field of Maritime or Logistic and Supply Chain

Key Competencies & Skills

High sense of compliance and integrity
Container management knowledge
General knowledge on container industry
Strong in English, both written and spoken
Problem solving / analytical skills
Depot, terminal experiences are preferred
Organized with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Customer focused
Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
