Position Overview: As a Manual Tester at SCTS, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our digital products. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and QA Engineers to plan and execute manual tests across web and mobile platforms. This role is open to junior to middle- level testers who are passionate about quality, eager to learn, and ready to grow in a dynamic and tech- driven environment.
Responsibilities
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end- to- end manual tests for web and mobile applications.
• Analyze test results, document issues, and provide clear feedback to the development team.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Ensure software quality and consistency across multiple releases and environments.
• Support automation testing efforts by identifying suitable test cases and collaborating with automation engineers.
• Work closely with engineers to integrate testing early into the development lifecycle.
• Create, maintain, and update test cases, test plans, and related documentation.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to continuously improve QA processes.
Requirements
• Basic knowledge of API testing (REST API) is an advantage.
• Experience testing web and/or mobile applications.
• 6 months to 3 years of experience in software testing (manual testing required; automation experience is a plus).
• Proactive, detail- oriented, and eager to learn new tools, technologies, and testing practices.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with cross- functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem- solving skills with attention to detail.
Nice to Have
• Basic understanding of database queries (SQL).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
• Exposure to performance or load testing tools.
• Experience with test automation tools or frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, Cypress).
• Experience working with SaaS, ERP, or enterprise software solutions.
