Business Title: Manufacturing Excellences Manager
Work Location: VSIP 1- BÌNH DƯƠNG
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE JOB:
- Provide Project Management (10%) for structured cross- functional execution.
- Lead Automation Programs (35%), reducing manual dependency and increasing productivity;
- Enhance Industrial Engineering (20%) through improved process flow, layout efficiency, and cycle- time optimization;
- Drive Innovation and Digitalization (35%) to strengthen data visibility and technology adoption;
Automation Development
• Co- develop scalable automation solutions with Engineering & Production.
• Drive automation across grinding, polishing, coating, inspection, and material handling.
• Develop and execute the automation roadmap from manual to full automation.
• Manage integrators and vendors to ensure safety, quality, and operational fit.
• Assess processes and build ROI- based automation proposals.
• Track post- deployment performance to deliver productivity and quality gains.
• Lead end- to- end automation projects from concept to stabilization.
Innovation, Digitalization & Industry 4.0
• Build and execute a manufacturing digitalization strategy aligned with Coherent global.
• Pilot new digital/automation solutions and scale successful initiatives.
• Introduce and scale technologies such as: MES / traceability systems, Real- time production dashboards, Automated data collection, AI- based inspection or process monitoring, Predictive maintenance for key optics equipment.
Production Industrial Engineering
• Maintain Standard Work, time studies, line balancing, and capacity models for stable operations and scaling.
• Optimize manual, semi- automated, and automated processes to improve productivity, quality, and repeatability.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and improve cycle time, yield, layout, and material flow.
• Support FMEA, root- cause analysis, and corrective actions using 5 Why, RCA, and DMAIC.
• Work cross- functionally with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Automation to ensure stable pilot builds, smooth ramp- up, and consistent output.
Project Management
• Define project scope, charter, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Track milestones, risks, deliverables, and provide executive updates.
• Coordinate cross- functional teams including Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and IT.
• Ensure projects meet intended performance outcomes and are delivered on time.
• Lead strategic projects across Automation, CI, and Digitalization.
