Material Manager (Mechanic)

Our client is a foreign- invested manufacturing company, now looking for an Material Manager (Mechanic, $2800, ID- 19637)
The Materials Manager oversees procurement, inventory, warehousing, and distribution to ensure efficient material flow from suppliers to production and customer delivery. This role drives cost savings, optimizes inventory, and supports operational goals.
Reports to: Plant Manager
Key Responsibilities

Oversee warehouse operations and material handling.
Monitor KPIs (Inventory Turnover, On- Time Delivery, Cost Savings) and drive continuous improvement.
Lead procurement strategies, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
Manage and develop a team of buyers, planners, and warehouse staff.
Collaborate with Production, Sales, and Finance to align material availability with schedules.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure ERP/MRP accuracy (SAP, Oracle, etc.).

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years in materials management/supply chain, including 5+ years in leadership.
Preferred certifications: Oracle
