Mid/Senior Backend Developer NodeJS, English

We are looking for many talents for all levels.
The Backend Developer will be a key part of the Information Technology department that builds, supports, and scales the IT business applications or projects of Integrated Health Plans Malaysia and entities. This individual will ensure the systems are within quality and meeting the service performance expectation.
Responsibilities

Prepares technical and user documentation
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize the backend application for one or more system applications
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Involved in new systems Design and develop RESTful APIs using NestJS
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Write unit and integration tests to ensure high- quality code
Implement database schemas and perform data migrations using MySQL, MongoDB
Manage the interchange of data between the server and the users
Work with cloud platforms and services like Azure, Heroku, or GCP for deployment
Implement secure authentication and authorization system (JWT, OAuth)

Yêu cầu công việc

• Good at English
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer with MERN stack applications
• Good experience and understanding of Object- Oriented Programming (OOP), Algorithm & Structures
• Good working experience developing backend for Web and Mobile applications, and integrating enterprise systems
• Good working experience with TypeScript, NestJS, RESTful APIs, and related technologies
• Good working experience with RDBMS Database (MySQL), as well as NoSQL (like MongoDB)
• Familiarity with security best practices and securing backend systems (e.g., data encryption, API rate- limiting, OWASP).
• Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Experience with version control (Git, Bitbucket) and continuous integration/delivery pipelines (CI/CD).
• Process strong analytical skills
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Nginx or other reverse proxy servers.
Experience with SQL
Experience with Golang
Experience with message queues (e.g., Nats, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
Experience with microservices architecture.
Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
Experience with KeyCloak
Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment pipelines (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Qualifications:

3+ years of relevant hands- on experience in MERN stack, NestJS, MySQL, MongoDB, software development for a senior position, leading a team of developers, and reviewing pull requests of junior and mid- level developers before merging
Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
