MOLD DESIGNER

* Mold Design and Development:- Design and develop molds for injection molding, die casting, or other manufacturing processes using Siemens NX.- Create 3D models, detailed drawings, and assemblies for molds, ensuring compliance with design specifications and manufacturing requirements.- Incorporate features such as cooling channels, ejector systems, and parting lines into mold designs.* Collaboration and Communication:- Work closely with product designers, engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure molds are designed for manufacturability (DFM).- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to optimize mold designs.- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to resolve design and manufacturing issues* Design Optimization:- Optimize mold designs to improve performance, reduce cycle times, and minimize material waste.- Perform simulations and analyses (e.g., flow analysis, cooling analysis) to validate mold designs.- Troubleshoot and resolve design issues during prototyping and production.* Documentation and Standards:- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including design specifications, bill of materials (BOM), and technical drawings.- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, customer requirements, and company guidelines.- Update designs based on feedback from prototyping, testing, and production.

- 3+ years of experience in mold design, preferably in injection molding or die casting.- Proficiency in Siemens NX (or similar CAD software) for 3D modeling and drafting- Strong knowledge of mold design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes- Experience with mold flow analysis software (e.g., Moldflow) is a plus
