Ocean Operation Manager (Mandarin Chinese Required)

Coordination: Collaborate efficiently with carriers, terminals, warehouses, customs brokers, and internal departments (sales, accounting) to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth shipment execution.
System Operation: Proficiently use the company&039;s internal operating system and relevant logistics platforms.
Client Communication: Serve as the key communication link between the company and clients (including Chinese clients and Vietnamese clients who communicate in Mandarin), as well as overseas agents, ensuring accurate and timely information flow.
End- to- End Operations: Manage the full cycle of sea freight (FCL/LCL) operations, including order processing, booking, trucking arrangement, customs coordination, documentation (B/L, customs documents, etc.), cargo tracking, cost settlement, and customer updates.
Documentation: Accurately prepare, check, and archive all related shipping documents in compliance with international trade regulations and client requirements.

Education: Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 2- 3 years of relevant ocean operations experience in a freight forwarding company in Vietnam, familiar with procedures at key Vietnamese ports (e.g., Cat Lai, Hiep Phuoc, Hai Phong). Exceptional fresh graduates may be considered.
Personal Attributes: Proactive, with a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and problem- solving skills, and a team player.
Language Skills (Mandatory): Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (all skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, especially professional email and business dialogue). Strong communication skills in Vietnamese are also required. English proficiency is a plus.
Professional Knowledge: Familiar with sea freight import/export procedures, Incoterms, and shipping documentation. Experience with at least one major carrier&039;s booking system is preferred.
