Works with managers to develop their leadership skills through one- on- one coaching and formal training courses
Oversees administration of human resources and benefits issues and ensures adherence to employment related laws
Creates a safe environment for guests, employees and community by creating, communicating and enforcing safety, loss prevention, and business resiliency standards
Effectively develops and manages the Human Resource department budget
Conducts employee orientation, management and line employee training
Counsels managers and employees on effective ways to address and resolve employment related issues
Develops and implements human resources strategies that support achievement of the hotel’s goals.
Assists in the development the annual budget in conjunction with the Executive Committee
Supports on- going compliance training and service brand behaviour by working with managers to develop and implement fresh approaches
Ensures Payroll and Benefits have required information for accurate and timely processing of employee information, as needed participate in local market research of benefits as appropriate
Monitors status regularly and adjusts strategies as appropriate

Responsible for developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with RHG’s goals and comply with legal requirements. Should have knowledge of HR best practices and able to ensure policy compliance throughout the organization.
Strong skills in recruitment and staffing required, able to develop effective recruitment strategies, conduct interviews, and make informed hiring decisions. Strong knowledge of best practices in onboarding and orientation processes
Plays a crucial role in fostering positive employee relations and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions
Strong understanding of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
Minimum 2- 3 years of previous experience in hospitality human resources in similar brand.
A bachelor&039;s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field required.
Good understanding in compensation structures, benefits administration, and performance management systems. Needs to be able to develop and implement fair and competitive compensation plans and administer employee benefits programs effectively
