Product Design (Mechatronics) Engineer
Mô tả công việc
Summary / Objective
We are seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to support the design, research, and development of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and intelligent mechanical systems. This role combines mechanical engineering, embedded controls, and MCU programming to drive innovation from concept through production. The ideal candidate has strong hands- on product design experience and a passion for robotics and automation.
Key Responsibilities
Product Design & Development
Use 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Solid Edge, or equivalent) to design components, assemblies, and mounting systems.
Support mechanical design and R&D for automation, programmed control, and AGV- related projects.
Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of innovative physical products using sound engineering principles to meet market and customer needs.
Embedded Systems & MCU Programming
Develop firmware for MCUs (Microchip, Arduino, etc.).
Program and integrate control logic for motors, drivers, sensors, actuators, and safety systems.
Troubleshoot electronic circuits, embedded controllers, and communication interfaces (CAN, UART, I2C, SPI).
Mechanical–Electrical Integration
Support wiring design, harness layout, PCB coordination, and system- level testing.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components into functional prototypes.
Prototyping & Testing
Support mechanical layouts, tolerance considerations, and manufacturability improvements.
Analyze test data, diagnose issues, and implement improvements.
Build, test, and validate prototypes for performance, reliability, and safety.
Project Support
Work with internal teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Participate in supplier meetings, customer discussions, and on- site assessments as needed.
Prepare and maintain documentation including BOMs, wiring diagrams, specifications, and design reports.
Basic 3D CAD skills- proficiency in SolidWorks/Solid Edge is a plus.
Familiarity with sensors, motor control (BLDC/Stepper/DC), PID control, and safety systems.
Good English communication skills—both written and spoken—required for working with international teams and clients.
Ability to work hands- on with prototypes, wiring, and testing equipment.
Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical/mechatronic development or embedded system engineering.
Experience with AGVs, AMRs, robotics, automation, or motion control systems is strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.Participation in university robotics competitions (e.g., Robocon) is a plus.
Hands- on experience with MCU programming and embedded control systems.
Strong analytical and problem- solving abilities.
