We’re looking for a Product Designer (UX/UI) who’s eager to shape meaningful user experiences and bring clarity, simplicity, and delight into everyday nutrition.
Wao is a next- generation nutrition and calorie tracking app built for the Vietnamese market.
Your Role
As a Product Designer at Wao, you’ll work closely with our Lead Product Design, Developers and Content team to craft user flows, interfaces, and experiences that are both functional and emotionally engaging.
You’ll play a key role in improving our app’s core journeys — from onboarding to meal tracking and gamification — ensuring users feel guided and motivated every step of the way.
What You’ll Do
Contribute to and maintain our design system, ensuring visual and interaction consistency across the app.
Design user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for mobile and web platforms.
Work closely with the Lead Product Design to define UX strategy and maintain design consistency.
Partner with the Content team to deliver clear, empathetic, and localized user experiences.
Participate in usability testing and iterate based on feedback and real- world behavior.
Collaborate with Developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
Translate user insights and data into clear, intuitive design solutions.
Stay up to date with best practices and trends in product design, UX, and mobile usability.
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Experience
Proactive and self- motivated, with strong attention to detail and ownership of design quality.
Proficient in Figma (required) — from wireframes to interactive prototypes and design system components.
Open to feedback, iteration, and experimentation in a rapidly evolving product.
Collaborative mindset — able to communicate clearly with developers, content, and design teammates.
Comfortable working in fast- paced environments and managing multiple priorities.
2–3 years of experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer, with a portfolio showcasing end- to- end product design work.
Strong understanding of UX principles, mobile usability, and user- centered design process.
Bonus: Interest in health, wellness.
