Product Developer

Collaborate with customer, PD manager, designer, sourcing, and PD team to develop new upholstery products from concept to production.
Able to navigate and understand cad drawings and find ways to execute according to the required specifications.
Create detailed technical specifications, keep track the patterns, and prototypes for upholstery products.
Maintain accurate documentation of product development processes and revisions.
Take charge of meetings with customer for product reviews, provide detailed recaps to the team.
Conduct quality control inspections and tests to ensure durability, safety, and compliance with industry standard protocols.
Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and optimize product designs for manufacturability and efficiency.
Assist in sourcing and manage supplier relationships for padding, springs, and other materials components for product development.
Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and sustainable practices related to upholstery materials and techniques.

Proven experience in upholstery product development, furniture manufacturing, or related sectors.
Excellent visual, technical, and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong knowledge of upholstery materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
Attention to detail and problem- solving skills.
