Product Development Asst Manager (Footwear) (26877) [Hcm]

Operations & Delivery – 65%
Oversee all development and commercialization activities to ensure products are technically sound, cost- effective, and ready for mass production.
• Lead T1 and teardown meetings with cross- functional teams (Engineering, QA, Production, Factories).
• Coordinate fit/wear trials, product testing, and RTB readiness.
• Manage BOM accuracy, Tech- Pack analysis, and timely sample delivery.
Collaboration & Team Building – 20%
Build strong relationships with internal and external partners (US HQ, regional teams, and factories).
• Act as a trusted partner to Development, Commercialization, and QA leaders.
• Drive communication, decision- making, and issue resolution across functions.
Process & Best Practices – 10%
Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance development efficiency and quality.
Training & Innovation – 5%
Stay updated on new materials, technologies, and manufacturing methods; participate in workshops and factory visits to strengthen technical skills.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

- 8+ years in the footwear industry, specializing in Product Development, Commercialization, Production, or QA.

- Strong knowledge of materials, product construction, and seasonal development timelines.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

- Proactive, detail- oriented, and able to work independently in a fast- paced global environment.

- Proficient in MS Office, PLM systems, and footwear technical tools.

- Fluent in English
