We specialize in two core product lines: Pallet Products and Container Products, both requiring precision manufacturing and continuous process improvement.
Role Summary
The Medior Production Engineer transforms design information into clear, actionable production instructions. This role ensures efficient manufacturing by preparing processes, tools, and documentation before production begins. The engineer works closely with design, quality, and production teams to optimize workflows and support the setup and effectiveness of production lines.
Key Responsibilities
General Production Support
Training technician: Provide guidance and training to technicians to ensure proper use of machines and adherence to processes.
Translate design data into manufacturing steps and documentation.
Collaborate with design and quality engineers to ensure manufacturability.
Assist production teams with technical questions and process clarifications.
Process Setup & Optimization
Develop and implement production lines setup and improvements using lean principles (5S, VSM, Kanban, Lean / Six Sigma).
Co- lead in configuring machines like saw, CNC, punch laser, press brake, and deburring machines for Container Line.
Support setup/improve of CNC milling, riveting, and assembly for Pallet Products.
Maintenance activities: Assist in planning and monitoring AM/ PM for production equipment.
Analyze workflows to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions.
Tooling & Equipment
Sourcing during factory setup: Collaborate with suppliers to source tools, materials, and equipment during the setup phase.
Monitor machine performance and suggest upgrades or maintenance plans.
Design and develop tools and equipment to improve manufacturing speed and quality.
Quality & Safety
Support rework analysis and corrective actions for out- of- spec parts.
Set up checks to ensure product safety and compliance with quality standards.
Act according to VRR’s Code of Conduct and report unsafe situations.
Data & Reporting
Assist in layout planning for production areas
Evaluate cost- effectiveness of manufacturing methods and suggest alternatives.
Maintain records of production processes and performance metrics.
