Production Operator

* Machine Operation:- Operate gravity separators, sieve machines, color sorting machines, and multi- scan machines.- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal operation.- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to minimize downtime.* Quality Control:- Ensure all pistachios meet the quality standards by performing regular inspections.- Identify and remove defective products using color sorting and multi- scan machines.* Documentation:- Accurately fill out production and maintenance logs.- Document any issues or malfunctions with machinery and report to the supervisor.* Safety and Compliance:- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.- compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.- Participate in safety training sessions and drills.* Team Collaboration:- Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient production processes.- Communicate effectively with the production supervisor and other operators.* Note: This job description is not intended to be all- inclusive. * Education:- Engineering diploma or degree- Technical training or certification in machinery operation is a plus.* Experience:- Experience Proven experience operating and troubleshooting gravity separators, sieve machines, color sorting machines, and multi- scan machines- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.* Skilled requirement:- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem- solving skills.- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and documents.- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation.- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.* Physical Requirements:- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.* Work Environment:- The role involves working in a production environment where there is exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.- Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn as required.
